Lee Pluke

Founder & Executive Director

Lee has been in financial services for more than 30 years. His career began in sales before moving into product design and the establishment of his own financial services company.

Lee is driven by the desire to give consumers better value for money, especially when it comes to risk products, and to help consumers manage their money better. Bond Optimiser aims to do precisely that. South African consumers have been victims of reckless lending, misselling and bad financial advice. Improving their financial literacy and providing them with affordable financial products is key to their future.

JEROEN DE LIJSTER

Chief Executive Officer

Jeroen has 20 years’ experience in business development strategy. He has a special interest in creating businesses that have a positive impact on individuals and communities in emerging markets.

He has experience in the automotive, retail and financial services sectors, as well as the NGO sector in the area of food security and reverse logistics. He has an Honours degree in International Business Economics and a Masters in Business Administration. Jeroen loves leading people and building organisations that have a purpose that’s higher than profit.

VEBINIA GABRIEL

Chief Operating Officer

Vebinia has been in operations for almost 20 years. For the past 10 years she has worked with companies linked to Bond Optimiser.

Before that she held positions at major listed companies and a financial services brokerage. She has a B.Admin, has run her own business, and managed to earn her Honours degree part-time. Vebinia loves Bond Optimiser because she believes in the power of financial literacy to change lives. As a result of applying some of its principles to their own finances, Vebinia and her husband live debt free.

Andile Masilela

Sales Manager & Operations Assistant

Andile has 14 years’ experience within the Customer Care and Sales environment. The extensive knowledge gained has enabled her to find a good balance between Sales and Customer Care departments. Her skills extent to Operational management that incorporates best practices between her vast knowledge and skill set. She has worked for some of the biggest corporations and has received many industry related certificates as well as the RE 5 Regulatory certification, Sales & Marketing management short programme, A Short course in Human resource Hiring and Practice and Business Management Studies. 

Shaaheen Omar

Head of Legal

Shaaheen is an experienced Attorney who has litigated for the major banks in South Africa. He specializes in commercial and foreclosure litigation.

He has obtained a LLB degree, M-MBA and several other internationally recognized certifications.

Shaaheen loves that Bond Optimiser is a financial services provider that truly cares about consumer rehabilitation by implementing effective, diverse and revolutionary strategies. He admires the financial education provided to Bond Optimiser’s clients.

When managing his own money, he is cautious with credit but appreciates the positive impact it can have, when used correctly.
